On Tuesday, July 26th the Montgomery Bar Association bestowed the “Judge Cheryl Austin Award” on Paula Souvannaphasy, Kaplin Stewart’s law clerk, at the closing ceremony for the Bar’s summer intern program. The award is “presented to someone who shares Judge Austin’s passion for social justice and racial equity, as well as her determination, work ethic, and kindness.” Nancy Walsh, who ran this year’s MBA program, told Pamela Tobin, Esquire, that Paula was “such a worthy recipient.”
