Joanne has over 30 years experience in estate and trust administration. She works in both our Blue Bell, PA and Cherry Hill, New Jersey offices.
Prior to joining Kaplin Stewart, Joanne worked for the Philadelphia law firm of Butler, Butler & Butler and the law office of Edmund P. Butler as well as another local firm that specializes in estate administration.
Losing a loved one is a personal and stressful time for all families. Joanne’s primary focus is working closely with families, providing personal guidance through the probate process, and in the administration of estates, trusts, and guardianships, the funding of revocable and irrevocable trusts and the preparation of federal and state death tax returns, fiduciary income tax returns and fiduciary accountings. She has extensive client contact and works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment. She has worked with several area law firms in the preparation of fiduciary accountings involved in Orphans’ Court litigation and is one of the original beta testers of estate administration software.
