James Hendershot is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department.  James’s practice primarily involves complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts.  James has experience representing individuals, businesses, and local governmental bodies in a variety of commercial, construction-related and real estate-related disputes, including partnership disputes, disputes relating to real estate purchases/sales, and a variety of contractual, quasi-contractual, tort, and statutory claims.

James is a third-generation graduate of Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law.  During law school, James served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Christopher C. Conner of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the Hon. Thomas P. Rogers of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, and the Hon. Anne E. Lazarus of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.  James also served as a Senior Editor on Penn State’s Journal of Law and International Affairs and graduated from Dickinson Law School as a member of the Woolsack Honors Society, an honor given to those students in the top 15% of their class.

James is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
