Jeffrey L. Silberman is a principal of the firm and a member of the Real Estate Transactions Department. Mr. Silberman concentrates his areas of expertise in real estate transactions, particularly commercial and retail leasing, acquisitions and dispositions of real property and financing.
Prior to joining Kaplin Stewart in 1996, he worked for Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll.
Mr. Silberman received his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in 1989. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Widener University School of Law in 1992, graduating magna cum laude. While at law school he served on the Executive Board of the Law Review.
Mr. Silberman is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania State Bar Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Mr. Silberman has had a Law Review Comment published in the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. Some of his recent speaking engagements include panel discussions at the International Council of Shopping Centers Retail Leasing Symposium, the October, 2003 I.C.S.C. Law Conference and leading roundtable discussions at various I.C.S.C. Conferences.
He lives with his wife, Elizabeth, daughter, Rachel and son, Jonathan in Lafayette Hill, PA.
