Dirk M. Simpson is a principal of the firm with a practice that concentrates on trust and estate planning, business planning for closely-held companies, taxation, and representation of tax-exempt entities. He also regularly handles Orphans' Court litigation matters.
Drawing upon his prior experience as a tax advisor at a local trust company's family office division and his Masters of Law in Taxation degree, Mr. Simpson frequently counsels on the tax implications of business and personal transactions.
Mr. Simpson regularly speaks on estate planning and estate administration topics to various business and professional associations. He has been a guest speaker on estate planning topics on local and nationally-syndicated radio programs, such as Daybreak USA (USA Network) and Sirius Radio (FamilyNet Radio).
Mr. Simpson co-authored My Will Book, an instructional book on estate planning published by Sterling Publishing (2007) (a subsidiary of Barnes & Noble) and distributed nationally.
